Gender identity therapy is a chance for individuals who are questioning their gender or sexual orientation either socially, emotionally and/or physical. We understanding that finding a therapist who will understand your unique experiences, provide a safe place and demonstrate knowledge supporting you through this new journey.

We also specialize working with individuals within the LGBTQ+ community because we understand this is often challenging. You shouldn’t have to teach your therapist.

Our clinicians have gone through extensive research, training and experience. We are also active with local LGBTQ+ organizations-gender nexus, Indiana Youth Group (IYG), Riley gender clinic and Eskinazi.

  • Gender identity therapy is is a chance for individuals who are questioning their gender identity or struggling either socially, emotionally and/or physical. It’s a chance for you to process your feelings in a safe and non judgemental way. We do not try to “fix” you because you aren’t broke but help support you on this journey to discovering yourself.

  • Goals for this therapy are whatever you want them to be. For some, it’s about learning how to transition socially or physically. For others, it’s about having a safe place to just process what they are going through to better understand themselves. During our first session, our therapists will learn a bit more about your needs and goals. If you don’t have any that is okay too!

  • We have several clinicians who are either part of the community (Jennifer, Zach and Rachel) and/or are extensively trained working with these needs. Kaci, Jess M, Emily (trained and allied).

  • We do! All our clinicians see LGBTQ+ teens 13 and older and adults.
