Affordable therapy in Indianapolis

Therapy is an investment in yourself. Therapy for many is a life-changing experience. The effects of therapy are far reaching beyond the the time spent in the 50-minute session. Private pay therapy is often cost-prohibitive, even with sliding scale. To address this, most therapists at The Brave Life Therapy have spots in their schedule for reduced fee or pro-bono work but often those spots get filled fast.

At The Brave Life Therapy, it's important to us that everyone has access to mental health services. Through our counseling internship program, we are able to make this a reality and offer affordable therapy in Indianapolis and Florida. Select pro bono slots available.

Our counseling interns are in their last semesters of graduate school in mental health counseling and are in the process of obtaining their hours for graduation. All our interns at The Brave Life Therapy have additional trainings outside of school in areas of LGBTQ+ affirming care, dialectal behavioral therapy (DBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), trauma and much more. These are full length, 50 minute long sessions and can be scheduled weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.

Each intern offers 2 free sessions then pay what you can between $40-$60 and this funding goes towards their supervision, additional training and stipends.
